Numbers have always been part of my story. My grandmother was the Assistant Accountant General of Sierra Leone – one of the highest-ranking accountants in the country. She taught me everything about managing money: budgeting, saving, giving back.
I carried those lessons with me, eventually earning my degree in accounting and later working with top firms like Deloitte and KPMG. But something was still missing. Too many women-led businesses were struggling – not because they lacked talent or drive, but because they lacked financial support. I knew I had to do something.
After having my daughter, the mission became personal. I didn’t just want her to learn about money – I wanted her to know that there’s more to life than just working for someone else. I wanted her to see that she, too, could build something of her own. To turn her passion into a business. Manage it well, and the money will follow, securing not just one’s financial future but also creating a legacy.
That’s why I took the leap and started FMS Advisory. Today, we help women business owners take control of their finances, secure the funding they deserve, and build companies that create real wealth.
