Festina Manly-Spain’s love for numbers runs deep, and it started with her grandmother, the former Assistant Accountant General of Sierra Leone. From a young age, Festina learned the power of budgeting, saving, and giving back. That early foundation set the stage for her future in finance, where a single college accounting course turned curiosity into a calling.
After over a decade working in top-tier accounting firms, Festina knew she was ready for something more personal. When she became a mother, her drive to pass down financial wisdom grew even stronger. But it wasn’t just about teaching her daughter money basics – it was about showing her how to build something of her own.
That spark led to the creation of FMS Advisory, a firm committed to helping women business owners succeed through tax advisory services for women, financial guidance, and long-term support. Festina saw a gap in the system: too many women entrepreneurs were left behind, not because they lacked talent, but because they didn’t have the right financial partner.
So she built one.
