It’s also never been more important to work with people who know the ins and outs of what it takes to help your business succeed. As someone who has always been kind of obsessed with crunching numbers, I’m here to help people get set up for a successful financial future.

Go on, I’ll let you take a guess.

The #1 reason why most people go out of business?

The #1 reason why most people go out of business is related to poor cash flow management, which means it’s never been more important to be financially savvy.

Time and time again, I’ve found that business owners need a B.F.F. - Best Financial Friend. Any good friend will make complex problems easier to handle, give support when needed, and are always ready with an idea or two to turn their dreams into reality.

Friends help each other go from flailing…to flourishing. That’s what motivates me to do what I do–I’ve seen first-hand that when people have a handle on their finances, it frees them up to build a business they love.

Now, I want to share my knowledge with others in a big way. I want finance to be palatable and down-to-earth versus complicated and overwhelming. That’s why I aim to provide people with relatable, easy-to-understand, actionable tips. I’ve been in hundreds of conversations where I witness the light bulb moments–when things click and people feel ready to tackle any financial problem. I call that going from unsure to unstoppable.

Good financial practices go beyond number crunching and spreadsheets – the joy of building a wildly successful business is waiting!

Detailed Bio

Festina’s passion for numbers and money runs deep. Her grandmother paved the way for her career in finance, having worked as Assistant Accountant General–the second highest accountant in all of Sierra Leone. You might say that her love of numbers runs in her blood! She taught Festina basic money management skills like budgeting, savings, and giving back. After one course in accounting in college, Festina decided to pursue it as a career and it’s given her more purpose and fulfillment than she could have ever imagined.

Then…she gave birth to her daughter. One unexpected result of becoming a first-time mom was an entrepreneurial spirit that kicked into overdrive. Festina yearned to pass down not only the valuable education that she had received from her grandmother, but much more. One of the main lessons she wanted to impart to her daughter was the fact that there is more to life than working for others. She knows first-hand that when you turn your passion into a business and manage it well, the money will come – not just for your own financial security but for creating a lasting legacy.

Festina left the conventional path to pursue her passion–in today’s world, a road not taken. She started FMS Advisory to empower women entrepreneurs to unlock their potential and achieve their dreams through business ownership, guided by the notion that with dedication, perseverance, and smart financial management, anything is possible.
